Product Care Instructions

Immediately After Installation

DO NOT use the windscreen wiper for 3 days immediately after installation. The iTAG needs this time to properly adhere to the vehicle surface. It is RECOMMENDED to replace the wiper blade regularly. The wiper may damage and wear the iTAG.

DO NOT use the rear demister (heating or defrosting) for 3 days immediately after installation. After this period of time, it is permitted to use the rear demister although keep use to a minimum.

DO NOT wind the windscreen down for 3 days immediately after installation (on some cars the rear windscreen can be wound down). After this period of time, it is permitted to roll down the window. However, it is RECOMMENDED to keep use down to a minimum. Rolling down the window may damage and wear the iTAG or cause the edges to lift.

DO NOT wash the windscreen for at least 3 days after installation.

If the outside temperature is less than 5 degress celcius or more than 40 degrees celcius, DO NOT park or drive the vehicle out in the weather for at least 24 hours after installation, although 3 days is RECOMMENDED. The iTAG requires this time to properly adhere to vehicle surface.

Please BE AWARE that the more sunlight the iTAG is exposed to, will cause it to fade sooner.

If after a few days you notice some minor bubbling, use a pin to prick a small hole on the edge of the bubble. Use the supplied squeegee to squeeze the air out of the bubble and smooth down the area.

Cleaning

DO NOT use Windex or similar window cleaning agents that contain ammonia or solvents.

DO NOT use high-pressure water hoses to clean the iTAG.

DO NOT wax the iTAG. Use detergents that are WAX FREE. The vehicle may be taken through a car wash. However, it is RECOMMENDED to keep this down to a minimum. Car washes may damage the iTAG and cause it to fade sooner.

It is RECOMMENDED to hand wash the iTAG. It is best to use mild warm or cold diluted soapy water and a sponge when cleaning the iTAG. Do not vigoursly rub the iTAG otherwise, it may damage, move or the edges peel away.
